Acrylic: Available in 1mm to 30mm thicknesses, this material is perfect for most kinds of signage. It has a glossy finish that is easily paintable and it is relatively cheap. Larger letters can get heavy though so consider pins or switch to PVC.

PVC: Comes in thicknesses of 5mm to 30mm, this material is cheaper and easier to work with than acrylic and it can be used outdoors. Be aware that the cut edges have a porous look to them so shouldn’t be used for signage viewed close up. It can also warp in the sun if it isn’t held securely into place, but done right, this signage is just as durable as acrylic.

Metal: Brass, Stainless Steel, Copper, Mild Steel, you name it. We can cut it. And if you need something like the Ritz Carlton above, double layer it. Place a thin metal on the front of a thicker black acrylic to give you the depth you need.

Polystyrene: Need 200mm thick letters. Then it’s hard to go past epoxy painted polystyrene from a price perspective.
